Affiliated to The University of Burdwan and having obtained NAAC Accreditation with B+ Grade and CGPA 2.73 in the first cycle, the college is now included in the list of colleges under sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956. It is also an ISO 9001:2015 certified institution. Since its inception in 2013, the college has been aspiring to further enhance the quality and scope of its academic initiatives and improve its infrastructural setup. The college also endeavours to provide a clean, healthy, eco-friendly and intellectually stimulating environment to nurture the young minds and enable them to become socially aware and morally responsible citizens of the nation.

Extension activities, excursions, educational tours, field work and socially outreach programs with humanitarian objectives are also arranged periodically to equip the students to graduate with competence and confidence to thrive in this big competitive world.
